A Very Considerate Person Who Will be Missed  / Mr. Crusader (Friend)
Even though I wasn't in touch with Gary for several years, I do remember his birthday greeting cards that he started mailing to me a few years ago.

When I was more active in local advocacy, I always recall that Gary could be counted on to help organize and lead the people who had something to say.

He was never afraid to speak his mind, and I hope that his life and his passing encourages others to do the same!

Innspiring, Remarable ,Man  / Joan Greer (Aqaintance/friend of mother )

  Gary was a man whom was a freind to everyone.He loved doing what he could to make life better for all those around him.
   I was saddened to hear that he had made his transition so soon,but I know that he touched many hearts and that he will not be forgotten in the community in which he lived. 
    His mother was a very great influence on him and she did a fine job raising Gary under some very diverse circumstances.
    The las time I saw Gary was at the election party in Desert Hot Springs in 1995.I was so impressed as to his character and diplomacy throughout the evening. It was one of the most enjoyable events I can remember attending in the desert.
     May the light of God surround him as he makes his transition.

Gary Bosworth was the primary reason we moved to Desert Hot rather than buying a home in Palm Springs, he convinced us of the future and possibilies of opportunities and growth in Desert Hot Springs is unending. So with his encouragement our family purchased three homes here. He will be missed as he was the best Ambassador Desert Hot Springs could ever have, he is irreplaceable. The City Council has to step up to the plate and follow his lead continuing to have Desert Hot Springs be the great City that is is. Close

Treasured advise and a Big, Big loss  / Russell Betts (Friend and Acquaintance )
It would be impossible not to realize Gary Bosworth was something special after a first couple of meetings with him (even though it was he that made me feel special every time when we met). But having heard how much he meant to others, how much he helped others, it is humbling that I had any time with him at all. Like he did for others, he passed on advise to me that I considered valuable when he offered it and that I treasure now that he can offer me no more. More than that, I consider myself to be so very lucky to have had what time I did with him. For myself and for our city and for everyone he touched, it is a big, big loss. Close
